Push notifications are available if you are using the iOS or Android app. Push notifications are managed outside of Careswitch; configure push notifications in your phone's settings app. Push notifications give a generic version of the message to prevent Protected Health Information (PHI) disclosure.

iOS (iPhone and iPad) App

Careswitch will ask your permission to send push notifications when first using the app. If you initially did not allow push notifications, or want to turn them on or off:

  1. Go to your device's Settings app and select Notifications

  2. Scroll down and select the Careswitch row

  3. Make sure that Allow Notifications is on

Android App

To modify push notifications with the Android app:

  1. Go to your device's Settings app

  2. In the Phone section, select Notifications

  3. Scroll down and make sure the Careswitch row is On
