Overview
The Workforce area is where you manage profiles for people who are part of your agency, including caregivers and office staff.
From Workforce, you can:
View and search your team
Filter employees by stage, status, role, tags, and other criteria
Create new employee profiles
Send login invitations
Update an employee's stage and status
Add and manage profile tags
View and update employee information, including employment details, pay, qualifications, schedule, and more
Recruiting is for people who are still going through your hiring process.
The Recruiting section in Careswitch provides a centralized way for healthcare agencies to track and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process. It also connects with the Workforce section, making it easy to transition hired candidates into active employees.
Track candidates through the recruiting pipeline from Prospect to Application, Evaluation, and Offer.
Customize statuses within each stage to match your agency’s hiring process.
Search, filter, sort, and manage candidates from a centralized recruiting table.
Create and invite candidates individually or in bulk.
View candidate details and activity history to track progress and changes over time.
Track recruitment sources such as referrals, job boards, advertising channels, and other sources.
Transition hired candidates into Workforce for onboarding and continued employee management.
Open the Recruitment or Workforce Section
In the left sidebar, click Recruiting or Workforce.
The table opens with your team members or prospects.
Click any person's row to open their profile.
The table includes information such as the employee's name, role, job title, department, employment type, stage, status, tags, contact information, location, start date, and last sign-in.
Customize the columns
The Workforce table displays several columns by default. You can choose which columns appear based on the information you need to see.
Click Columns above the table.
Select the columns you want to display.
To display every available column, select Show All.
Some columns are hidden by default, including:
Primary Language
Gender
Ethnicity
Date of Birth
Hire Date
Recruitment Method
Recruitment Source
Matching Criteria
Connections
Date Created
The employee's name is always displayed.
Search for an employee or prospect
Use the search box above the table to find employees or prospects.
Search looks across the visible fields in the table, not just the employee's name.
As you type, the table updates to show matching results.
Filter the table
Click Filter to narrow the list of employees.
You can filter by:
Status — Find people with specific statuses.
Tags — Find people with specific tags.
Role — Find people with a specific workspace role.
Matching Criteria — Find profiles where matching criteria are complete or incomplete.
Connected To — Find people connected to a specific client, team member, or contact.
You can use multiple filters at the same time.
For example, you can filter the Workforce table to show only Active caregivers who have a specific tag.
Clear filters
To remove a single filter, click the selected filter within that filter's menu.
To remove all filters, click Clear Filters.
Use stage cards
Stage cards appear above the table and show the number of people in each stage.
The Recruiting stages include:
Prospect
Application
Evaluation
Offer
Inactive
The Workforce stages include:
Onboarding
Active
Paused
Departure
Inactive
Click a stage card to filter the table to people in that stage. Click it again to remove the filter.
Stage cards can also be combined with other filters.
